I would offer is the weight, which I'm sure is the cooling compound inside, but we took it camping with us last weekend and it wasn't a huge problem. Truly great product!!!

Purchased this for my German Sheperd. He plays fetch twice a day + a long walk and gets super hot here in the Texas heat. Originally had a different brand purchased at Walmart; same idea as this cool mat, but smaller and the gel inside was free floating. It was like a giant banana peel if I stepped on it. This Arf Pet mat has a solid gel that doesn't slide when stepped on plus the large size allows my GSD to completely sprawl out and still be all the way on the 35"?55". He weighs exactly 80lbs for size reference in the picture. I havent noticed an odor, and my GSD doesn't seem to be bothered by an odor emanating from the mat either as he sleeps on it every night and lays on it after just about every playtime/walk. I would recommend and I would buy it again, especially for helping cool off a hot canine.

My English shepherd was suspicious so it took a bit of coaxing. I started by putting it on her bed at night. Now it just stays on the floor. She uses half and then changes to the other side when it gets warm. Easy to clean. Easy to fold and slide under the bed when we vacuum. This is a stubborn dog but she really uses the cooling pad all the time now.

My English bulldog loved this right away! First she used it without the cover, then when the cover arrived she seemed to love it even better! I put it right by her favorite ?ool spot?(our fireplace hearth) hoping she would just switch back and forth between the two, and that? exactly what happened! She has genuine and severe bulldog breathing issues, and this will be a lifesaver for her as she can? take the heat at all. To whoever is the maker of this product is, Daisy and I say THANKS! We love it!!!

No dislikes yet. Have a little padding, which helps my doggie with arthritis. We got the large ones. Keep in mind that they are rather heavy to drag around. Haven't tried putting them in the freezer yet, but my dogs are very happy at this point.

My dog Lady absolutely loves this cooling mat, we live in the Sonora desert & her being mostly black in color gets overheated easily. She is constantly laying on it to lower her body temperature. I am very pleased with this product, it doesn? slide around, covers her entire big body, easy to wipe clean. I wake up sometimes in the middle of the night & she? in the living room sleeping on it. I am using this product for myself. I purchased this mat because it has SOLID gel. It does not shift when I roll from side to side. This mat has many sealed sections & solid gel does not transfer. I love it . It reaches across my double bed. I roll over & find the chill wherever I choose to lay.

This cooling mat is awesome! I? say 70% of the time my kids are on it more than the dog because it? so cool. Unfortunately a tear started to form and the cooling ?ads?in the mat started folding over. I contacted the company by email and they immediately sent a replacement. Awesome job you guys. I recommend.

It? amazing how well this pad stays cool. My Labrador likes laying on the cooling pad. He usually puts his head and front part of his body on the pad and leave his hips off. I think the cool makes his hips a little stiff so he figured out how to solve the problem and still enjoy the cooling pad. I would definitely recommend this pad, it really works! Some pads I saw advertised had to have water added, this one does not and that makes it so easy to use. Whenever my dog gets on it, the pad is cool. I?e even laid on it a couple to times to cool off. The pad is kind of heavy, but it? easy to move anywhere needed, even used it in the car for a road trip.
