Executive Leather Recliner Chair

I bought this chair to replace a home office chair that was over 20 years old. This chair looks great and is so comfortable!

I just got this today and put it together in about an hour. The instructions are very clear and simple. The only temporary glitch was get the holes for the screws to line up with the arm rests, but by loosening the screws and repositioning, it finally fell into place. My last chair was similar, but larger and heavier. I am 5' 0" tall, and it was always too big. Then, the raising mechanism quit, and the screw holding the arm rest broke when I pulled on it. Here is a lesson: if you want to move the chair, do not make a habit of pulling on the arm rest! The new chair is extremely comfortable for my size--I have lower back (lumber) issues, but it seems that I may not need the extra seat cushion and back support that I bought for the last chair.

For under $100 bucks, this is a GREAT desk chair!! Very comfortable! I am 6'3" 275 and am actually very comfortable sitting in this chair. Although I would probably benefit from a Big & Tall version, it still feels very comfortable and fits me well, especially at this price point. I intend to use the chair fairly infrequently, so for my situation, the chair is fine. Although the base and arms are made of a durable feeling gray colored plastic, the chair still feels very sturdy and supports a guy like me fairly well. The (imitation?) faux leather seats feel as nice as the seats in my Lexus! The chair sits fairly high off the ground - a benefit for those of us with longer legs. The chair does have a height adjustment lever as well, so shorter folks should feel comfortable as well. Would I buy this chair to be used in a situation where it was being sat in for 8 - 9 hours a day? Probably not, but for a home office set-up, where it will be used for maybe a few hours a day, this is a great chair that should last a long time.

I have put together 6-7 office chairs over the last few years and this one was by far the easiest to assemble. All the bolts are the same size. There are only 12 bolts to screw in. What makes the assembly easy is that the casters snap in and so does the bottom seat. There are 4 screws to screw the lift and tilt controls to the bottom of the seat, 4 bolts to screw in that connect the arm rests to the bottom seat and 4 bolts to screw the back of the chair into the arm rests. The tip I would offer is to not tighten the 4 screws that screw the arm rests into the bottom seat in any more than necessary until after the back of the chair is screwed in as well. Once that is finished you tighten all 8 bolts and it is a piece of cake.

The assembly is straightforward and doesn't require much strength; I would expect my mother to have no issue putting this chair together. If you're elderly or disabled, a relative or helper should have an easy and quick time of putting it together, and there is very little chance of making a mistake during assembly. Sturdy at and slightly above the recommended weight limit. I peaked around 256 or 258lbs while using this chair, and it didn't show any signs of complaint then, and it hasn't shown signs of wear since. Really comfortable. I'm an eight-hours-a-day user, almost without exception, and I have no complaints. The leather holds up very well. I don't expect this to be true forever, but after approximately 1800 hours of use, there is no tear or warning sign.
It leans back super stably. That's the most important aspect for me.

Seat is soft and comfortable, hopefully it will stay that way over time, but too soon to tell. Very easy to assemble. The seat is good size for the average American and seems comparable in width to the chairs I use at work.

Looks awesome with my cherry finished desk and hutch. Surprisingly comfortable.

Like many others, I suddenly found myself having to work from home. Since I don't have a dedicated home office, the dining room became my work space. The table worked fine but I was unable to find a chair that didn't aggravate my painful sciatic condition. I tried 2 different chairs and even bought a cushion recommended for sciatic pain. Nothing worked and within 2 hours of starting my day, I was in extreme pain and struggling to do my work. I did a bit of research on chairs recommended for sciatic pain and found this one - it was reasonably priced, had the features I wanted/needed and I liked its appearance. Originally I was told it would take 2+ weeks for my chair to be delivered, however I received it 5 days later. My son was able to put it together for me in less than 30 minutes. This chair has made such a difference - I am able to sit comfortably for several hours and can focus on my work. When we are able to return to the office, this chair is going with me because it is better than the chair I was using. I highly recommend this chair to anyone who suffers from sciatic pain and has to sit for long periods of time.
