Better then a knife or traditional mandolin! I seriously love this thing. I'm starting a food business so I needed something to help me make quicker work of fruits and veggies. I saw this slicer in my research but decided to purchase an electric Salad Shooter instead, thinking it would really minimize my effort. I returned it promptly because it tore up anything soft, like strawberries and citrus fruit. Went ahead and ordered this one and I'm so glad!

easy to setup , use, and cleanup. Cleanup should be done soon afterwards...cleaning up after food has dried will take more work. Instructions are ok. The thickness dial was simple to figure out..the other two knobs will take more than to decode which combination of settings to use. Once that's set, food prep is easy. would be good to have a way to have a bigger tray for the prepped food though. the food chute is good for small to medium size vegetable and fruits...larger items will need to be cut to fit the chute.

I bought this chopper over a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made. With a busy life this saves so much time when it comes to meal prep. I have bought other types of choppers and none of them compare to this one. Even bought one for my mom last Christmas. 5 starts, highly recommend!

I still can't get the blade cover back on but otherwise it is excellent?oes exactly what it says it does and it does slice extremely thin, if you wish..

This cutter does exactly what it claims. It seems to be a sturdy, robust product. I tried it out for the first time yesterday, and it cuts juliennes (which is really what I wanted it for) to a variety of widths. It's also easy to use, and easy to clean.

Cleaning is quite good, the instructions suggest cleaning in running water and using the brush provided, but you do need to check it carefully as there are places where small pieces of food can get trapped.

This is a safe and efficient way of preparing vegetables in a number of different ways.

Love this!! Once you get the blades set properly it cuts perfect shoe string fries. Havnt purchased the 5$ frozen bags since. Has held up well since the beginning of spring. Only downside side is I dont put it in the dishwasher.
