The insoles are ok, I see what other reviewers are referring to. They are comfortable, don't get me wrong, but a good pair of insoles when the factory ones wear out will be nice.
If you're like me, I was hesitant to try the good minimalist water resistant shoes. I have some of the cheap ones, and I thought, how can someone run over terrain in these? I get it now, these are worth the extra dollars, way worth it. The fit, the comfort and they look kinda cool. I would get cheaper tennis shoes to kick around the house and work outside. I seem to sacrifice something with the cheap shoes, I am going to get another pair of these. You don't have to sacrifice anything with these shoes, they are great.
I quickly got used to this different type of shoe, even running the treadmill... very comfortable and lightweight. Great value.
Great
Great shoe very comfortable without socks or with socks.
Lots of complements
I?e been using these for my standard workouts and for running on the treadmill over the last couple weeks. So far they?e been holding up well and the only complaint I have is that the strap does most of the work to tighten the shoe. They fit as expected.
I initially bought these as workout shoes. Me and my daughter go for walks around the neighborhood and do as many laps as possible to start building up her stamina so we can start doing workouts in the last few weeks. I also took these shoes not only to six flags for an entire day as photoed but also the aquarium and running errands all day the following day. These are honestly really great walking shoes. I recommend wearing socks with them because they're a little more comfortable with actually having socks than going barefoot like other people have. However, for the price and the quality this are exactly what I needed. I'm a 9 and a half wide normally but got the 10s in size. The fit is perfect and I honestly enjoy wearing them.
So these are a suitable substitute to the 5Fingers and actually better for running on sharp gravel trails.
Bought my first pair for a vacation to Costa Rica have been sold on these since. They are versatile for water, beach, and casual walks. They add protection to the top of my feet yet and are still cool in hot weather. I wouldn't recommend them for long walks because the insoles don't provide a great deal of support, but they have been ideal for an evening on the back deck, washing the car, or even a trip to the grocery store.
I dislike wearing socks in the summer. So I tried these. They are extremely comfortable. I will be wearing them all summer. Might have to get another pair.
Bought these for my brother who was replacing my low slope garage roof with the Liberty System rolled shingle rain and Ice shield, which was extremely slippery, similar to new car vinyl, wet! He loved the traction they offer, and plans to use them kayaking.
Highly recommended!
