The texture is soft and comforting. That's the first thing you will notice. I nuke it in the microwave for four minutes and it fits comfortably and securely around the shoulders, upper back and neck with no snaps to maneuver. The long tying "tails" can be secured in a partial bow when I want to move about the house multi tasking. I keep it in the freezer for a couple of hours when I want to use it as a cold pack instead. Today I am purchasing a second one so that I always have one on hand that is very cold and the other, available to microwave starting at room temperature.

I like everything about this. I tried it last night I have problems with my shoulders upper back and neck currently getting PT for it and I put this on last night for the first time warmed it up for about a minute and a half put it on and it really help to relax my muscles. Excellent it won't slip off which was a concern of mine but it stays on very nicely and I am not a small person very happy with this

This wrap covered in a very soft and soothing material fits comfortably around my neck and shoulders. I microwaved for the 90 seconds indicated and it became reasonably warm - not too hot but comfortable. The weight of it also puts some gentle pressure on those tense areas. The warmth lasted longer than I expected and between that and the weight, I felt a gradual and pleasant release of tension. I found it a little awkward to move around in without holding onto it but it generally stays in place while I'm just sitting. It doesn't hug the neck a lot though. I do like the fact that it's relatively odorless, even after microwaving. I'm also glad that it didn't get moist but stayed fairly dry. I think this is a pretty good solution for mild aches.

What a nice, portable wrap that heats up FAST (1 1/2 minutes) in the microwave or cools in the freezer for which ever use you need. And you're not connected with an electrical cord so you can still move around freely. It seem heavy at first, but the weight adds to the soothing of sore muscles. And the heat lasts an adequate amount of time! Easy to use anywhere that has a microwave. It's going to be the first in my suitcase for traveling!

If you leave work feeling like your shoulders are somewhere up around your ears, this is just the thing for you. Working long hours on a computer, poor posture and stress can lead to discomfort in the neck and shoulders. It can become difficult to rid ourselves of the tension in the muscles even when we're away from the source. Placing this shoulder wrap around the neck, you instantly feel the weight gently pushing down on the shoulders and forcing them into a more relaxed position. I don't even need to heat it or cool it to enjoy relief. It's probably even better if you do. The color isn't obtrusive so I've even worn it at the office on occasion when I needed to.

I've only used it hot but it has been great so far. I work at a computer all day so my neck and shoulders are always really tight so I've been throwing this one during the day and at night and it has helped so much.
It's super soft and easy to use. Just make sure your microwave is clean or use a paper towel under it to make sure it stays clean since you can't machine wash it.

I like this wrap because it is a weighted, continuous heat on my neck, which causes them to be loose throughout the day. When I take the wrap out of the microwave, it isn't a stinging heat, which causes me to get a towel, but a heat that I can immediately apply directly to the body (it was in the microwave for a minute and thirty seconds). What is awesome is that I have had it on for the past 10 minutes, and the heat is still there. The wrap also has this neck support on the back that allows me to have heat applied directly to the muscles around the lower back of my head, which always seem to be tight for me and cause headaches. I will say this, I have not had a headache since I put this on me.

After sitting in front of a computer for 10 hours/day or just using your smart phone, my neck would sometimes hurt. Heating pads just don't fit properly, but this heated neck pad does the trick, a couple of minutes in the microwave then put it around your neck, and instant relief.

Shaow isnoerfect for neck and shoulder discomfort it stays on and hugs well. So at first-- it got barely warm and I just kept reheating... and even then it doesn't get hot like my orig bed buddy... but I tried it anywyas and even the warmth is soothing and helpful. I get bad neck discomfort and right shoulder discomfort and it's hard to get old orig bed buddy to stay in the place I need. I'll try heating longer next time

I bought this more for heat around my neck, which it works fine for, but the warmth is felt in the upper back and shoulder region more effectively. It's simply not held close enough to my neck to do exactly what I wanted, however, it's lovely if you're just wanting to warm up on the couch reading a book. It's nice and heavy and even heat throughout; I find the weight quite comforting. The heaviness helps it stay in place but only if you walk around slowly. The instructions say to only microwave it for a minute but I safely did it for 90 seconds to get more heat.

I use it for lower back discomfort, it is big enough to cover my back, keeps the heat, feels great. Within minutes the discomfort has subsided. I have had others but so far nothing tops this one.

I only gave this four stars because you have to adjust the beads around the top every time before use since they are not secured; however, I love this. The fabric is super soft, it smells nice, and the weight of it is just right. I actually don't heat it up to use it because the weight of it is soothing to my cramped neck after a long day of sitting at my desk working. Working at home during COVID19 isolation I have not had great ergonomics and my neck hurts all the time. This has helped. I even use it during work if I am not on video because it reminds me not to hunch my shoulders. It fits really well around my neck and shoulders, and I am not a super small person. It has been a very useful product.
