This was a life saver. I've needed to break in my Doc Martens for a while now, but didn't want the bloody heels that came with it. And I gotta say, these things are miracle workers. They definitely take a couple tries to get used to, but once it's the same temperature as your foot, you barely notice it's there. To wear them I recommend wearing one pair of socks, slipping these over those, and wearing another sock over that to make sure it doesn't slip off. All in all, I will be recommending these to friends and family, and will be buying more in the future. :)

I wore these for the first time, under socks, with a brand-new pair of boots. Normally, I tend to have a lot of rubbing and blisters on my heels, but at the end of the day, my heels were as happy as can be! I was worried these might be slippy-slidey in my shoes, but they did not budge and they added a nice, though strange, squishy feeling to every step. At the end of the day, my feet were not extra hot and sweaty (which was a worry of mine) AND I was blister-free. They washed very easily in my sink and are ready for another wear very soon. I told numerous co-workers about them, they are great.

My right heal had deep cracks at times that could be sore to almost discomfortful. Tried foot creams alone but didn't do the trick so added gel heel protectors and a huge difference! My heels are soft and cracks almost completely healed. Comfort was instant & Between wearing these in my shoes & wearing a gel heal sock at night, cracks healed over about 3 weeks. You can use heal cream with these - just rob in well first. Also use care when slipping heel into your shoe so you don't tear them- so far they are holding up very well.

I have an issue with my heels being rubbed from my shoes and I will get blisters. These completely solved my problem! They're clear, but depending on your socks they may be able to see them coming out of the top of your shoes, but not a big deal for me.

My heels take a beating and look terrible from walking so much, matter what kind of shoes I buy. I cringe when my callous comes off because I'll have to go through it all over again. Not with these heel covers! It saves them. A couple of times, they have gotten so sweaty, they started sliding up, but I added a little powder inside of them and it stops it from happening. Also, I have to hold them up to determine which way they go and aren't inside out. That may have been why they were sliding up. I will always buy these from now on!

I spent $150 on 2 pairs of tennis shoes that both rubbed the back of my heels. I invested in these and pushed off buying a new pair of replacement shoes! They are a little funny at first, but second or third use they are golden. I am going through a lot of shoe powder now, but totally worth it. Love that they come with the bag and an extra pair! Couldn't say enough great things about these.

Bought them to wear with my Dr Martens as I will inevitably get blisters on my heels. Problem Solved. If their is any negative, they can bunch up as you walk since the silicone is squishy and slippery but my heels still stay protected.

I cannot praise these things enough! Any time I used to wear dress shoes, I knew that I would have a raw or even bleeding spot on the back of my leg met the top of the shoe. I tried bandages on that spot on my skin. I tried lining that part of the shoe with tape and bandages. I even bought foam strips to put on the shoes. None of them worked but this did. The one downside is that is if you put them on with the textured part on the inside against your foot (wear them inside out), they squeak when you walk. Not a big deal and easy to avoid if you pay attention.

I have 2 pairs of shoes that are so darn comfortable but every time, they rub a blister on my heel. I've tried everything else from a liquid skin barrier, blister tape, special bandages for the heel. This is now my go to and I haven't had a blister since! These are so soft to the touch and you get used to them being on your feet, or at least I did quite quickly. I can't thank Vivesole enough for this product.

I have always struggled with blisters. Even with the best hiking boots, I manage to get them on my heels from time to time, particularly on hilly trails. These gel heel protectors really help! I was worried the heel cover would rub or be uncomfortable at the edges, but they are very soft and comfortable. I had no issues with rubbing at the edges. They stay put for most of my hikes, but for long and hilly hikes, I use some micropore tape to hold them in place. My only criticism is that when I tried them for the first time, I used them in some looser hiking shoes and my feet tended to slide forward and my toes hit the front of my shoes more than normal. I don't intend to use them in non-boots, so that isn't an issue for me, but is something you might want to consider if you are looking for a product for use in looser, low-top shoes.

I was skeptical, but I was amazed at the difference these made in the appearance of my feet after only wearing them for 1/2 a day. I have not tried them yet with lotion, and I have not yet worn them inside shoes, but I have worn them to bed, and worn them around the house. They are comfortable, they seem to be durable since the silicone is substantial and thicker than a similar product I tried. They have a little cushion in the heel that is pleasant to walk on. So far I am very satisfied and I would definitely recommend these.

I actually love these. I'm flat footed ( like, no gap between my arch and the ground, flat footed). I wore these bartending and totally changed my foot life after my shifts and the next day. These absorb the shock from your heel better than any foot pad or insert I've used. Easy to clean with dish soap and water.

The cracks in my heels were bleeding 3 days ago. See picture for what they look like now, after just a few days of wearing these gel things. It's obviously still a work in progress, but it's already so much better after just a few days! I put a very small amount if hydrocortisone on my heels, slip on the protectors and a pair of socks and go about my day. By the end of the day my heels feel soft and moisturized. They're thin enough to wear in my normal shoes, and add a tiny bit of cushioning that feels good on my poor heels. I haven't had any issues with them slipping or anything.

Got a new pair of doc martens and they destroyed my heels after 20 minutes but i wanted to wear them out for my birthday. Got these and i was able to wear my boots all night walking around and dancing with no blisters! Dry heels,,,,this works! Just put over your heals and add a cut off sock to keep it in place and your heals will be nice and moist in the morning. Use to put foot cream and a cut off sock which works as well. Save the cream and use this instead, Highly recommended!

These really help keep the skin on the heels soft after a pedicure. I live where open heeled shoes are a go-to, so the skin on my heels dry out quickly. It looks ugly if I don't get a regular pedicure. I wear these at night and put a pair of socks over them so the silicone doesn't stick to my sheets. I think these are worth the purchase and effort to wear.

I have a problem banging one of my heels while hiking, creating a discomfortful blister. Tried all sorts of solutions, but this heel protector finally made hiking enjoyable again. Comfortable, easy to clean. The only drawback I see so far it that it stretches after several uses, and starts sliding in the boot. Oh well, nothing lasts forever. That's when it is time to replace it. Recommend as a remedy for similar issues.

At first, I thought they were a gimmicky product but I wanted to give them a try because my heels were so dry. It took me a little to adjust to wearing them but I have seen the change. I wear them during the day while walking around the house and at night with cream and coconut oil. My heels have healed and look so much smoother. I will buy them again when these give in. The only con is that they're getting a little stretched because the daily wear. Therefore, they might not be long lasting but they're worth it.

I bought it to provide more cushioning for my TENNIS shoes and it works great. The gel protector has reduce incidences of heel discomfort and Achilles tendinitis. Only wish that they were more durable ie the gel protectors will rip or loose elasticity after multiple uses but overall satisfied with the product. This was my third order.

I bought a brand new pair of boots, but after wearing them, I ended up with blisters on the heels of both feet and it was extremely discomfortful. I bought these hoping they would help and they did! I had to wear them under my socks so they wouldn't get pulled out of place putting my boots on, but it works and they're comfortable. I can now wear my boots and break them in and be comfortable all day.

Amazing. I work from home and am barefoot almost 24/7. I have hardwood floors and keep dry cracked feet. I recently used a heel callous remover gel and foot file, and have used these ever since. Starting with a clean slate, so to speak, my heels still look like I just came from the salon and the foot discomfort is gone. They don't dry out like they did, and no more callouses. As odd of a thing these things are, they work great. Smear of Vaseline on your heal before, and you're on your way to smooth heals after a week. Be very careful if you're walking in them.

I had heel discomfort because of dryness and walking on hardwood floor. I used to apply moisturizer to my heels and put on this to cover up the heel and lock in the cream to my heels. It helped to heal my heel faster.

I have psoriasis on my heels so I apply my ointment and put these on at night. Problem solved! They're soft and comfortable. They fit well. I don't recommend you use them during the day if you do a lot of walking because you'll slide around a bit

Badly cracked heel, bought to protect it while I try to figure out how to fix the dry, deeply cracked heel. These are super stretchy and seemingly durable. I've worn for 24 hours (not when sleeping) and they've held up so far. My badly cracked heel is finally looking hydrated and the thick gel helps the discomfort from the crack immensely. Will update when I wear them more.
